Thank you to all who have called, messaged and emailed asking if we will be reopening on Monday 15th June, after the government’s announcement of easing of lockdown measures to allow zoos and safari parks to reopen.

Monkey World will NOT be open on the 15th June 2020. We also do not have a predicted date for opening yet.

There are several factors for us to take into account when considering reopening to the public. The government feeling confident enough to ease measures is a positive sign. However, we closed the park to the public before lockdown to protect our primate care team, and of course, our rescued monkeys and apes.

We will only reopen when we feel we can adequately shield and protect not only our primate care team and our rescued primates, but also visitors to the site.  15th June is not feasible for any preparations to be implemented.

We will announce when we will be reopening via our website, email & social media pages.

We would like to thank you for your continued support during this time. We cannot wait to see you all back at the park again soon!
