We have 3 fully en-suite bedrooms available, 1 double, 1 twin/kingsize double and a family room with a double bedand 2 full-size singles.  All rooms have central heating, colour TVs, hot drinks, mini fridges, chilled water, hair dryers and free wi-fi connection.

Our home is situated in aprox. 1 acre of grounds and garden on the edge of the village a half mile from the Railway Station, and has ample off road parking for all vehicles and secure garage facilities for cycles and motor bikes.

Breakfast is served in the dining room which opens on to the stream-side terrace; watch the antics of our ducks as you enjoy a full English breakfast including fresh eggs from our own hens and Liz’s home made bread and preserves.

We are within a 5 or 10 minute walk of the 2 pubs in the village, both of which serve evening meals.  The local shop and Post Office (which also sells take-away food) is also just 5 minutes walk away.

A beautiful 16th century farm house seeped in history and mentioned in the Domesday book. It is off the beaten track and situated in a picturesque valley frequented by walkers participating in the famous “Purbeck Way” with the opportunity to take 4 different pathways. It is a peaceful and tranquil setting perfect for relaxing and catching up on some well-earned rest and fresh air!

We have 2 rooms, one is a family room and cam accommodate a family of 4. There is a separate sitting room with a welcoming log fire and wide screen TV. The second room is a double and is with a shared bathroom. Breakfast is from a menu ranging from full English to fish dishes, cereal and superb eggs from our residential hens! Coffee teas and fruit juices. It is served in the large Farmhouse Kitchen or in the garden during warmer climes.

We are situated between Wool and Lulworth Cove, the centre of the Jurassic Coastline. We are approximately 4 miles from Monkey World – Ape Rescue Centre, 2 miles from Wool where the Railway station is on the London Waterloo to Weymouth line and Rod is happy to collect anyone using the railway from the satation to transport you to Belhuish Farm. The Old Mill is a new Bed & Breakfast run by David and Lorna, with our baby daughter Louisa, and our laid back chocolate Labrador Jenson. We aim to give you a warm welcome and a comfortable stay in the heart of Hardy’s Dorset.

Our home is the miller’s cottage of the former water mill which we renovated over the winter of 2011/2012. We created four brand new bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms within the 18th C. building, all equipped with period furniture and restored antique beds. We offer modern facilities and comfort within a delightful period property. Some of the traditional mill features, including the original mill race in the Breakfast Room, have been retained.  We usually have some sheep and lambs in our paddock and our hens provide your breakfast eggs.

Enjoy English or Continental breakfast with home-made jams, marmalade and free-range eggs.  You can eat in our Breakfast Room, or on our patio just outside. We offer free Wi-Fi, welcome dogs and have plenty of parking.

Bere Regis, with its two pubs, is central in Dorset and on the main A31 route, near to the market towns of Dorchester and Wareham and only 12 miles from Poole.  This makes our B&B an ideal base in Dorset or a convenient stop-over to and from other destinations.
