Park Closure 05/11/2020

Following the government’s announcement of a second lockdown, we are sad to say that Monkey World will be closing from 5pm, Wednesday 4th November until restrictions are lifted.

This pandemic has been the biggest challenge Monkey World has faced in its 33 year history, and we thank each and every one of you who has donated, visited and supported us through this time.

While our entry gates are closed, life goes on for our 260+ primates, who still deserve the absolute best care we can give them. We’d love your support to continue to provide them the highest standards of care, and ensure Monkey World is around in the future to help more primates in need.

You can donate to us via our website, through adopting, or via our Amazon wishlist. Details of these can be found at www.monkeyworld.org/support-us/donations-and-appeals/

Adoptive parents will receive their newsletters as usual, and we are so grateful for your unwavering support. We would appreciate you donating the time on your annual entry pass to us and honouring your original renewal date.

If you have booked visits to the park between Thursday 5th November and Wednesday 2nd December, please get in contact to rebook your visit once we are open.

In the meantime, we will be posting updates on the primates and the park on our social media channels, and our learning resources section on the website contains primate lessons and activity sheets to keep your little monkeys busy.

Thank you as ever for your support and loyalty. We look forward to seeing you back at the park again soon.
