Meet Rieke, the teeny-tiny three-week-old orangutan!

11 February 2015

We can't stop looking at this utterly adorable baby orangutan – just look how gorgeous she is!

Rieke was born on 12 January at Berlin Zoo but she's soon set to travel over to the UK for a new home.

Sadly, this little one's mum rejected her when she was born, so she'll be coming to Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre in Dorset.

But in the meantime, staff at the German zoo have been making sure she's well looked after by bottle-feeding her milk and giving her plenty of cuddles.

We wouldn't mind helping out if they need an extra hand! The teeny-tiny member of the Great Ape family – who weighed just 4lbs when she was born – is also being kept warm and snug in cosy blankets. Aww!

Rieke will be in good company at her new home, as she'll be placed with five-month-old Blulu Mata, a Sumatra orangutan. No doubt these two cuties will have all sorts of fun monkeying around together!
